What does a successful PX4 project look like, and what do the companies look like that own these projects. Andrew Wilkins is an engineer (and CEO) at Ascend Engineering, a drone software engineering consulting firm. Over his tenure at Ascend Engineering, Andrew and his team have consulted for a wide range of companies that are integrating drones into delivery, security, infrastructure, military, etc... Over time, it has become apparent what works for these projects, and what doesn't. What decisions have been made that has allowed them to make quick progress, and what decisions have been costly mistakes. This talk will cover what successful projects do (which OS they choose, how they tune their drone, how they treat their engineers), and what failed projects do (will have to attend talk to hear these) all from an engineering perspective. Take 30 minutes to jump start your next PX4 based project!
