In this talk, James Strawson, lead roboticist at ModalAI, will discuss how to leverage computer vision techniques to help solve a diverse set of challenges in building autonomous, aerial robots, including localization, collision prevention, and navigation. He will walk you through how to bridge the gap between several popular open source computer vision standards and open source drone platforms like PX4 using MAVLink, and how to enable small drones with computer vision.
